Moneyling LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Dreamlife-Sim mobile application and web platform (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our educational financial planning platform.

Important: Dreamlife-Sim is an educational tool designed to teach financial literacy. We do not provide financial advice, brokerage services, or investment recommendations.

Information We Collect

Personal Information You Provide

  • Profile Information: Age, location, and educational preferences
  • Simulation Data: Your lifestyle, career, and retirement planning inputs (optional and should not include personal identifiers)

AI-Generated Information

We keep all AI-generated information created from your inputs (e.g., simulations, reports, tasks, and other outputs generated by the App). We use this information for aggregated data and insights—including to operate, improve, and develop the Services and to generate statistics and de-identified insights—as further described in How We Use Your Information and Information Sharing and Disclosure below.

Information We Collect Automatically

  • Performance Data: App crashes, loading times, and error logs
  • Location Data: General location (city/state) for lifestyle cost calculations

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Financial Account Information: Bank accounts, credit cards, or investment accounts
  • Social Security Numbers: We never request or store SSNs
  • Detailed Personal Information: Addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive identifiers

Use of Protected Resources (Device Capabilities)

If the App requests access to device capabilities such as the camera or microphone, we use them only as described below. Each purpose is explained clearly with a specific example of how the data or capability is used.

Camera

Purpose: If the app requests camera access, the camera is used solely to allow you to capture or upload images for use within the App’s educational or personalization features (for example, to add a photo to your profile or to a simulation scenario).

Example of use: You might take a photo of a document or upload a picture so the App can incorporate it into a financial planning visualization or profile. We do not use the camera for identification, advertising, or any purpose other than the feature you choose to use.

Microphone

Purpose: If the app requests microphone access, the microphone is used only for features that require voice input (for example, voice-based search or accessibility).

Example of use: You might speak a question or command so the App can respond with educational content or navigate the App hands-free. Audio is processed only for that feature and is not used for identification, advertising, or unrelated purposes.

Other Capabilities

For any other protected resource (e.g., location, photos library), we will describe the purpose and a specific example of use in the in-app permission prompt and in this Privacy Policy. We do not use any capability for purposes beyond what we clearly describe to you.

How We Use Your Information

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We Do NOT Share Personal Information With

  • Third-Party Advertisers: No advertising or marketing partners
  • Data Brokers: No sale or rental of personal information
  • Financial Institutions: No connection to banks or investment firms
  • Social Media Platforms: No automatic sharing of your data

Limited Sharing Scenarios

  • Service Providers: Trusted vendors who help operate our platform (under strict confidentiality)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect rights

Use of Data and Outputs

  • License to Operate and Improve: You retain ownership of your submissions and outputs. You grant Moneyling a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, analyze, and create derivative works from your inputs, reports, and AI outputs solely to (i) provide and improve the Services, (ii) develop new features, and (iii) produce aggregated, de-identified insights and statistics
  • No Sale of Contact Information: We do not sell contact information. We may share limited data with service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payments) under contracts that restrict use to our instructions

Age and Eligibility (18+)

Minimum Age Requirement

  • Minimum Age: You must be 16 years or older to create an account and use the app
  • Adult-Only Service: We do not create accounts for users under 16 in the consumer app
  • Age Verification: By creating an account, you confirm you are 16+ and agree to our Terms and Privacy

Limited Educational Use Exception (Schools Only)

For compliance coverage (CYA) - applies only when an educational institution is explicitly onboarded and provides access codes under a separate written agreement:

  • Institution-Managed Use: Where an institution issues access codes for classroom use, the school/instructor is responsible for ensuring students use anonymous, non-identifiable information in profiles and inputs
  • Data Minimization: Moneyling's systems for school use do not require student names, personal emails, or other direct identifiers; pseudonymous IDs are recommended
  • Compliance Allocation: The institution is responsible for obtaining any required parental consents and for COPPA/FERPA compliance. Moneyling acts as a service provider/processor to the institution under the separate agreement
  • No Advertising: No behavioral advertising to students; data collection limited to delivering the educational service

COPPA Compliant Version

Dreamlife-Sim is available in a COPPA compliant version for use in settings where children under 13 may be present (e.g., schools and educational institutions). For information about the COPPA compliant version or to request access, contact info@moneyling.org. When the COPPA compliant version is used under an agreement with an educational institution, the allocation of compliance responsibilities (including parental consent and COPPA/FERPA) is as described in the Limited Educational Use Exception (Schools Only) section above.

Parental Use and Youth Simulation Data

  • Adult Users (18+): May simulate scenarios about a child (e.g., first job to retirement)
  • Generic Descriptors: Simulations may display ages younger than 18 for modeling purposes
  • No Child Identifiers: Do not include a child's personal identifiers in any inputs. Use generic descriptors only (e.g., "Child A," age, contribution amount)
  • Long-Horizon Modeling: Moneyling permits long-horizon modeling (e.g., compounding to 80 years) for planning; this does not create a child account

Subscription and Payment Information

Monthly subscription plans include a free tier, $9.99 per month, and $19.99 per month. Functional links to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use (EULA) are provided in the app and in each store’s or product’s listing. How your payment is processed depends on where you subscribe:

  • Apple App Store (iOS): The App Store is the only platform where we use Apple Pay / In-App Purchase for subscription payments. If you subscribe on an Apple device, the title, length, price, and links to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are provided in the app and in App Store metadata as required by Apple. Payments are processed by Apple.
  • Google Play (Android) and Web App: Subscriptions purchased through Google Play or the web app are processed by Stripe (not Apple Pay). Title, length, price, and links to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are shown in the app or on the web at the time of purchase.

You can access our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service (EULA) at any time; the same links are available in the app and in the relevant store or product listing.

Payment Processing

  • By platform: Apple App Store (iOS) — Apple’s payment system (Apple Pay / In-App Purchase); Google Play (Android) — Google’s payment system; Web app — Stripe.
  • No Storage: We do not store credit card or payment information
  • Encrypted Transmission: All payment data encrypted during processing

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
