For compliance coverage (CYA) - applies only when an educational institution is explicitly onboarded and provides access codes under a separate written agreement:
- Institution-Managed Use: Where an institution issues access codes for classroom use, the school/instructor is responsible for ensuring students use anonymous, non-identifiable information in profiles and inputs
- Data Minimization: Moneyling's systems for school use do not require student names, personal emails, or other direct identifiers; pseudonymous IDs are recommended
- Compliance Allocation: The institution is responsible for obtaining any required parental consents and for COPPA/FERPA compliance. Moneyling acts as a service provider/processor to the institution under the separate agreement
- No Advertising: No behavioral advertising to students; data collection limited to delivering the educational service
Parental Use and Youth Simulation Data
- Adult Users (18+): May simulate scenarios about a child (e.g., first job to retirement)
- Generic Descriptors: Simulations may display ages younger than 18 for modeling purposes
- No Child Identifiers: Do not include a child's personal identifiers in any inputs. Use generic descriptors only (e.g., "Child A," age, contribution amount)
- Long-Horizon Modeling: Moneyling permits long-horizon modeling (e.g., compounding to 80 years) for planning; this does not create a child account
